San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

This website is our favorite website about San Miguel simply because it is well written and very descriptive. Rich is actually the owner of the website and he is very responsive which we found to be another plus. The only critique we had was that we wanted to see some pictures! Rich says they’re coming! Other than that, we sincerely encourage people to go to his website, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and read. The website describes the cobblestone streets, the “jardin”, night life, Tuesday's market and a brief history of the city. You can also see they provide a directory of the bars, hotels and restaurants. It’s basically a monitored public forum. People are more than welcome to add their restaurants, bars and hotels to the list. Rich has also added a section to list property rentals and real estate. We are not going to attempt to replace San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We just want to let you know that resources like that are out there and in this particular case, we love the personal touch. It’s probably why we’re also so attracted to the city of San Miguel. It’s all about personal touch. Friendly, relaxing, good food and great weather… it’s San Miguel de Allende: a place to retire, a place to vacation, and a place to enjoy.
